Developing materials to teach conditionals in teaching turkish as a foreign language

This study aims at applying task-based learning and teaching to the development of materials to teach Turkish conditionals to the students learning Turkish as a foreign language.In order to achieve this purpose, after functional approaches to language teaching, foreign language learning methods and techniques, sample materials used in foreign language teaching, conditionals in Turkish are studied, task-based materials in teaching Turkish as a foreign language are prepared.In order to teach the target structure tasks are used by means of implicit and then explicit techniques.The materials developed for foreign learners to teach Turkish conditionals are prepared for intermediate language learners. The tasks designed and the materials developed are to be evaluated and assessed in real teaching situations, which, in this study, are left to be realised in a further study.
