Abstract (EN)
Individuals who want to improve themselves further for certain reasons need to learn a new foreing language. As in every foreign language teaching the most frequently used and frequently used tool in Turkish teaching is textbookks The general purpose of the study is to examine the reading texts of the Türkçe Yaşamak B2 textbook and workbook, written with the aim of teaching Turkish, in terms of cultural transfer. The importance of cultural transfer in the fielf of teaching Turkish to foreigners and its place for the field are explained. In this study, the importance of the reading texts of the B2 intermediate level textbook and workbook called Türkçe Yaşamak, which was prepared by the instructors of Karabük University Turkish Teaching Application and Research Center and taught at Karabük University TÖMER, in terms of cultural transfer in Teaching Turkish as a Foreign Language was examined. Living in Turkish, Turkish teaching set has been prepared in accordance with the language learning levels determined in accordance with the achievements of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. In consists of A1-A2 basic level, B1-B2 intermediate level and C1 advanced level textbooks and workbooks. The target audience of the Turkish Living Language Set is foreign students studying in Turkey. The aim of this study is to reveal the cultural elements of the reading text in the Turkish Living B2 intermediate level textbook and workbook. In the study, the case study design, which is one of the qualitative research methods, was used and the document analysis method was used in the study. A total of 22 original cultural elements were examined in the Turkish Living textbook reading text and 107 ofiginal cultural elements were reached. When the reading texts of the textbooks are examined, the most linguistic cultural item is found, while food, beverage, desserts and 1 cultural item belonging to the house are included. The workbook was examined with the same 22 main cultural elements and 17 main cultural elements were reached. When the reading texts in the workbook are examined, the most cultural elements belong to the language element as in the textbooks, while the sate, religion, folk culture, fashion, music, special days, health and sports, history, cleaning, food, beverage and sweets, education, games and chidren's games the data onthe main cultural elements of migration and migration could not be reached.
