Abstract (EN)
In this research, an examination has been made about the critical thinking tendencies and critical reading skills of the Turkish teacher candidates. As a result of this research, critical thinking tendencies and critical reading skills of the Turkish teacher candidates has been revealed according to several variable. Having said that the main purpose is to demonstrate the influence of critical thinking tendencies on critical reading skills. The aim of this research has brouht out the relation between critical thinking tendencies and ciritical reading self-afficacy sense of the Turkish teacher candidates and test whether there are significant differences according to the demographic characteristics of the Turkish teacher candidates. The research which is done in the context of this aim is in the nature of relational search. Data collection tool in search consists of personal information of the Turkish teacher candidate critical reading self afficacy sense scale and critical thinking skill scale. Appropriate collected data for the purpose of the research that are processed into SPSS-21 package program. LISREL package program has been used for confirmatory factor analysis studies of the scales. Befora not looking that according to reaction of the Turkish teacher candidates between the relation self-afficacy sense and skill and according to demographic characteristics between the differences of self afficacy sense and skill, normality or plate homogeneity tests have been performed to determine whether the data distribution is parametric or nonparametric. The sub-factors and general factors of critical reading self-afficacy sense scale and desciriptive statics on the Turkish teacher candidates' point sharing of critical thinking skill scale (Average, standard deviation, minimum and maximum values) by calculated.
