Kontrastive analyse des Türkischen gerundiums und dessen reflexion im Deutschen

The focus of this work is a contrastive analysis and a structured overview of the various functions of the gerund in Turkish and their use in German. Using semantic and syntactic aspects, the aim of the thesis is to show the linguistic means by which the meanings of the gerunds in German can be expressed equally. Furthermore, the empirically obtained results should reflect the problem area of the transfer of a verb adverb construction from Turkish into German. With the help of the analysis of the test persons, the identified language problems are examined in detail and clarified on the basis of the theoretical preparatory work. The types of errors are analyzed and explained with regard to semantics and syntax. Based on this, didactic considerations for better communication for foreign language teaching at university institutions are worked out.
