Abstract (EN)

ABSTRACT Nowadays, the importance of knowing a foreign language is increasing day by day. Parallel to this situation, like other languages, it has become a language to be learned in Turkish as a foreign language. Students who want to learn Turkish as a foreign language can take various educational institutions came to Turkey to learn Turkish. However, students experience some difficulties in the language learning process for various reasons. However, there are various language learning strategies in order to enable students to learn the language more effectively and permanently in the language learning process. Language learning strategies can be defined as the methods, techniques and tactics that learners use throughout the learning process. Language learning strategies not only facilitate the learning process of learners but also ensure that learners in this process are permanent. Therefore, determining the level of using language learning strategies of learners and informing them about this issue is vital for the language learning process. "Descriptive screening model" was used in this study which aimed to determine the language learning strategies used by Turkish learners as foreign language and to determine the relationship between these strategies and various variables. The study group of the study consists of 269 students at the B1 and B2 levels at the level of education at the Turkish Teaching Centers for foreigners of 2018-2019 education faculty members. Some of Oxford (1990) Cesur and Fer (2007) are a personal information formula with the Inventory of Spoken Strategies translated from English into Turkish. The data obtained from the study were analyzed with the help of t-test and one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) in Spss 21.000 program. As a result of the analysis, it was found that the frequency of using language learning strategies of Turkish as a foreign language was high and the learners used the most metacognitive and social strategies and at least the Memory Strategies. Another sub-problem of the study is the statistical significance of the Turkish TV channels. other sub-problems of the study, which Turkish gender of language learning strategies used by learners as a foreign language, Turkish learning difficulties perception, learning Turkish contribution to the status of native languages in Turkey have time, Turkish learning objectives have been found to show significant statistically the total score of the variables.
