The economic crisis from being lived of Turkey after 1980's the period

ABSTRACT In this study; the economic crisis that were lived after 1980s in order to produce the necessary measures and policies which would prevent the economic crisis from being lived once more and to assess the economic developments that arised with the structural transformation which existed in the agenta of Turkey after 1980s were analyzed. With this purpose; "in which kind of miliev an economic crisis can arise theoretically" is examined and possible crisis kinds and the sociocultural, politic, economic reasons of these crisis in both internal and external dimensions are researched. After the teoric approaches concerning the economic crisis which were produced generally the issue was handled in Turkey scale. These studies show that; main reasons of the economic crisis that exist in Turkey are the irnationalities in economic, politic and sociocultural areas. Besides these irrationalities, it is understood that; the additional reasons of the stabilization programmer that were applied and the existence of the developments which has an inclination for supporting the crisis in international conditions earned a very complicated structure to the reasons of the economic crise in Turkey. It is seen that; the crisis of 1994, 1998 and 2001 that arised in such a structure, caused losses of which economic and social cost was very high in Turkey and the stabilization programmer that were applied, produced unsuccesfull results such as being turned back again. These studies pointed out to some obligations. These are those; Both national and international-very directed-positions of the measures that would be taken so that the crisis that were lived in Turkes would not be lived again must be taken in to consideration and the measures that were put in to practice must be applied decisirely.
