Systematic review of graduate thesis related to the field of adult education in Turkey between 1986-2021 in Turkey

The aim of the study is to evaluate the doctor aland master's these swhich published in the field of adult education in the context of Turkey. Forth is purpose, 266 theses published in the YOK National Thesis Center between 1988-2021 in the field of adult education were subjected to systematic review analysis. As a result of the systematic review analysis, the findings were examined under three main headings. The first of these is the findings relatedto the identity information of the theses. In this context, it has been determined that year of 2019 is the most productive period for adult education these sand Ankara University was the leading institution about publication rate of adult education thesis. The second main topic regarding the analysis results is the evaluation of the themes of the theses. In this context, it has been determined that the majority of the theses published have a quantitative design, the trainees come to the fore in the sample preference, and the comparison analyzes are mainly used in the theses. In addition to this theme the historical development of adult education, local government policies, technology and application of adult education and adult education policies have been identified as the themes which are need to more research. The third title in the evaluation of the analysis findings is related to for malre quirements in scope of academic writing. In this context, it was determined that 6% of the theses did not explain significance of study, 5% did not explain purpose of thesis , 8% did not explain research problem, and 3% did not givepart of literature review.
