Censorshi̇p performed to the sculpture after the year of 2000 i̇n turkey and the atti̇tude of arti̇st

By nature, human has a tendency to change and transform everything around him/her for himself/herself. He/she is inclined in this way in line with situations such as obligations, making life easier, interests and so on. He/she reacts to any action that contradicts him/her in the process of change, directs it according to his/her wishes, tries to prevent it if it goes the other way, and sometimes gets even aggressive. There are many reasons underlying attack, violence and censorship, which aim to shape individuals and society by placing obstacles along with different concepts being brought under control in various ways. This study aims to evaluate censorship applied to sculpture as of 2000 and the artist's attitude towards censorship through examples by examining how attack, violence and censorship developed, the times when censorship appeared the most, and how the artists reacted to it. The study will focus on the examples of the attitudes such as attack, violence and censorship against works of art, which have been on the agenda especially in recent years; the phenomena explained by sociological, psychological, political and faith-related factors underlying the attacks will be examined and the artist's discourse in the face of this situation against works of art will be discussed.
