Abstract (EN)

Due to its geographical features, Turkey is one of the leading countries in aquaculture production. Turkey aquaculture sector has been supported in the last years, and subjected to various regulations in export and production. Thus, significant progress has been made in the aquaculture sector over the last 30 years. In the EU, aquaculture is especially important in coastal regions of the community. In community policies for fisheries and aquaculture are regulated under the OBP. The CFP aims to ensure that fishing and aquaculture are environmentally, economically and socially sustainable and that they want to provide a source of healthy food. The first studies on CFP started in the 1970s. Currently, the CFP has 4 main policy areas. These policy areas are Fisheries management, International policy, Market and trade policy ,Funding of the policy, respectively.CFP has undergone many different changes and reforms since its separation from the CAP. CFP has been updated several times as a result of reforms and the most recent of which took effect on 2014. In this thesis, new regulations on CFP are reviewed and compared with the current aquaculture policy in Turkey and aims to evaluation of the impact of new regulations on the aquaculture sector in Turkey
