Comparison of sports management structures of Türkiye and Azerbaijan

The effectiveness of the policies carried out by the countries in the field of physical education and sports and the extent to which the society has adopted it has been one of the issues that have been on the agenda and discussed for a long time. The research shows that the development of physical education and sports in the Republic of Turkey and the Republic of Azerbaijan is the main issue of government policy. Within the research, the chronological framework of the subject, the level of study of the subject, the source base, the aims and objectives of the research, the methodological foundations, the scientific novelty and the practical importance of the subject were reflected. In this research, the sports policies implemented by the two countries related to physical education and sports in Turkey and Azerbaijan, which have a common culture and history, and the legal regulations affecting it, the institutional structure of sports, the steps and support of the states in this regard have been compared and the similarities between them have been examined. and differences were found. Similarities and differences were found in the activities of Ministries of Youth and Sports, Olympic Committees and sports federations of both countries and other sports organizations affiliated to them. In this context, some similarities and differences between the phenomena affecting the sports administrative structure, youth and sports affairs in Turkey and Azerbaijan were tried to be determined and these were presented in detail in the conclusion and discussion section of the study. In the conclusion and discussion section of the thesis, the scientific results reached during the research process are summarized.
