Investigation of the content units in the context of organization and style in musical hearing reading writing books printed in Turkey

The aim of this research is to analyze the units of content in printed musical hearing, reading and writing books in terms of organization, linguistic and visual narrations; and secondly, to reveal the contextual interactions of the educational units of content. The research is in the qualitative survey model and descriptive content analysis, which is one of qualitative research models, is used. The universe of the research is the musical hearing, reading and writing books printed in Turkey while the sample of the research is musical hearing and writing books which are printed in Turkey after the year 2000. The data of the research was obtained from the content of the digital/physical libraries and the books which were found in the catalogs of the digital book shops in Turkey. While analyzing the data, the theoretical coding regarding to content of the books was attained and the findings were reported comparatively in the results. As a result, all three books which constitute the sample followed the syllabus, however the first book is weaker from the second and third books in terms of content and the presentation of the educational context. The book with the most comprehensive content on rhythm is the second book. The utmost number of the exercise pieces and example works are in the third book (n=600). Only the second book included the technological material usage. Visual contents were more intensely used in third book comprared with other two books. Finally, in the third book it is paid most attention to the contextuality between the topics.
