Abstract (EN)

Vegetation reserch has been studied in Turkey for nearly 70 years. Approximately 1500 plant association have been identified to date and more than 400 plant associations belonged to the steppe ecosystems. There is no study on the statistical analysis of these studies which have phytosociological classification. For this purpose, this study aimed analyzing steppe associations. For this purpose, 15 factors consisting of biotic and abiotic components of plant associations were identified end related data were entered into the data set. The data set was subjected to Pearson's correlation and MANOVA analysis in SPSS package program. According to the results of the analysis, the general covering and amount of organic matter were the most correlating with plant assocaitions. In the regression analysis, bedrock independent variable, general covering, number of association species and number of parcel species were determined as dependent variables. In regression, granite and tuff bedrock were identified as the most important bedrock type in terms of each 3 dependent variables.
