Abstract (EN)
Developing countries such as Turkey, which is one of the most important problems there are many studies on the current account balance. In this study, data for the period January 1987-April 2012 on the basis of the current account deficit in Turkey to reveal the asymmetric behavior using a model of regime change have focused on the determination. In this context, the Augmented (Extended) Dickey-Fuller (1979, 1981 ADF) Unit Root Test and Markov model was applied regime change. Results contraction regime of Turkey in the period from 2008 to 2009 in 1994.2001 and in other years shows that in an extensional tectonic regime.
