Abstract (EN)
Many molecular systematic studies performed on vascular plants in Turkey. However, although there are no studies on molecular systematics that have been concluded in our country on bryophytes, which are one of the vascular plant groups, it is known that there are also several studies on some species on this subject. This study is the first study was carried out in Weissia sp. taxa on Turkey in molecular terms. Turkey has so far given the Weissia sp. record 14 taxa. Working with the 14 Weissia sp. species were registered in Turkey is planned. These species are; Weissia brachycarpa (Nees & Hornsch) Jur., W. breutelii Müll. Hal., W. squarrosa (Nees & Hornsch) Müll. Hal., W. controversa Hedw., W. controversa var. crispata (Nees & Hornsch) Nyholm, W. condensa (Voit) Lindb., W. condensa var. armata (Thér. & Trab.) M.J. Cano, Ros & J. Guerra, W. crispata (Dicks.) Brid. ex Schumach, W. leptocarpa Schimp. ex Besch., W. longifolia Mitt., W. rupestris Hedw. C. Müll., W. rutilans (Hedw.) Lindb., W. wimmeriana var. muralis (Spruce) Breidl., W. wilsonii D.A. Callaghan (Syn :W. multicapsularis (Sm.) Mitt.). Only 8 species have been reached from such species have spread in Turkey. These are Weissia brachycarpa, W. controversa, W. controversa var. crispata, W. condensa, W. longifolia, W. rutilans, W. squarrosa, W. wilsonii. Analysis was done with rps4, atpB-rbcL and psbA gene regions. The best sequencing results were obtained from Weissia brachycarpa and W. controversa var. crispata species. Therefore, phylogenetic tree was created with these species.
