Abstract (EN)

In this study, some agro morphological characteristics of 42 cephalaria (Cephalaria syriaca L.) genotypes and two standard cephalaria cultivars (Ziya, Karahan) collected from 15 different provinces of Turkey were investigated in Bolu ecological conditions. The study was carried out according to Augmented experimental design in the 2021-2022 season in Bolu Abant İzzet Baysal University, Faculty of Agriculture, Research and Application Field. The experiment was set up with seven replications with a row length of 3 m, an inter-row spacing of 50 cm, and an intra-row spacing of 6 cm. As a result of the research, germination days were between 11,21-18,21 days, 50% of flowering days were 237,07-261,07 days, the maturation period was 289,28-327,78 days, plant height was 45.12-164.52 cm, the number of branches per plant was 5.24-11.49 pieces/plant, the number of seeds in the main tray was 13.78-45.28 pieces/tray, 1000 grain weight were 5.90-20.89 g, single plant yield was 0.24-2.52 g, oil rate was 7.17-17.79%, and single plant oil yield was 0.005-0.32%. Genotypes that could be cultivar candidates were determined as a result of the analyses. According to the results obtained from the research, as candidate cultivars, the Lok-89 genotype in terms of the number of seeds in the main plate, the Lok-63 genotype in terms of oil rate, the Lok-52 genotype in terms of single plant yield, and the Lok-84 genotype came forward in terms of single plant oil yield.
