Natural gas usage in Turkey and analysis of natural gas users? satisfaction concerning İĞDAŞ in İstanbul city

Natural gas is getting more and more common everyday. Natural gas has many uses, residentially, commercially, and industrially. It is one of the cleanest, safest, and most useful of all energy sources. Nowadays it is using instead of coal. As a result the usage of natural gas is increasing in Turkey. Natural gas produces far lower amounts of air pollution, it prevents effects of other fossil fuels. Natural gas Which is imported from other countries, is distributed to different cities of Turkey. Therefore air pollution is decreased using natural gas instead of coal.A large majority of Turkey?s population is living in Istanbul City. In Istanbul, natural gas usage for heating and other industrial requirements was initiated by Turkey?s leading natural gas institution, İGDAŞ. The analysis of natural gas users? satisfaction concerning İGDAŞ in Istanbul City constitutes the objective of our research. The research has been conducted by 400 natural gas users, selected by random sampling. The questionnaire method has been used for data collection. Moreover, the logistic regression analysis has been used for the research to identify the consequences of the effects of independent variables on natural gas users? satisfaction concerning İGDAŞ.
