Abstract (EN)
In this thesis, it will be tried to determine how Turkey's place in the foreign policy conjuncture is seen by the society through the news insiyafi in the print media, which is the first and most important step of media activities in Turkey. In this respect, the emphasis on Turkey Alone, which is prominent in the news and statements in the print media in Turkey's foreign policy crises, has been the subject of focus. The perception that Turkey has been left alone in its region and policies with a conscious and organized alliance in the international arena is frequently on the agenda, but the perception desired to be created by media with different editorial policies can change. In addition to Turkey's being isolated due to its own mistakes, there are ongoing views that Turkey is especially isolated. In the theoretical sense, it will be possible to determine how this situation, which points to hegemony in the theoretical sense, how this news perception pattern created by the press is seen and received by the society and whether a hegemony is realized or not, by determining what the public, the last link of communication through the media, thinks. Based on this forethought, in this study, a detailed press review was included to explain the current assumptions it put forward, and the impact of the "Alone Turkey" perception reflected in the press, especially in foreign policy crisis news, on young people was tried to be determined through face-to-face interviews In the press examination, it was seen that the news was made in the direction of Turkey's rightness and national interest, which coincided with the research assumptions, and that a high-level reading was aimed. In the evaluation of the face-to-face interviews, it was concluded that the young participants carried out a deliberative reading in the media texts. In addition, young participants expressed their expectations that Turkey should add different universal values to its natural achievements such as its geopolitical position, religious and cultural structure, and increase its economic standards. In the research, where 67 percent of the participants stated that they thought Turkey was becoming isolated, it was determined that the main scale in which young participants wanted to see Turkey was western geography.
