Master thesis abstract dimension of organic agriculture in Turkey and the world: Organic agriculture in Adana economy

Food is one of the most important element of human life, such as water and air. To meet the growing needs of the population, a great activity for the ongoing work is being carried out. This raises some problems and application errors in itself. Organic agriculture has emerged at this point and provided orientation until ecologically. Hormones, etc. applied to increase production in conventional agriculture adversely affect human life. Organic agriculture has been addressed with the vendor naturally and has tried to prevent negatives in our lives.In this context, various international organizations particularly the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization FAO gives support to the natural products that are not harmful to human life.In this regard various studies are being carried out in Turkey as all over the world. Organic Agriculture Act No. 5262 in Turkey constitutes a framework for the realization of organic agriculture. Subject of an article reveals the aim of organic farming.It is said that ?to ensure the development of the production of organic products and input in order to offer reliable and quality products to consumer, procedures and fundamental principles as necessary measures to be taken are defined?. Organic agriculture is directed within the framework of these laws in Turkey.
