Overview of the current situation and future of natural gas transmission used in the production of electrical energy in Turkey

Energy, which is one of the main inputs of economic growth, is an important part of the world agenda due to the welfare level of societies and all the effects on the economy of the countries In Turkey, the need for energy has caused the demand for natural gas, which is known as a cleaner source of energy than other fossil fuels, to increase. This need makes the transmission of natural gas, which is mostly imported,very crucial. In this study, after examining the transmission of natural gas energy to our country which is one of the important energy resources for our country, production and consumption in our country, technical and literature knowledge about obtaining electricity from natural gas is presented and the study concludes with the predictions regarding the future demand for natural gas energy supply, it is sooner.
