Electronic banking in Turkey: A study about the internet banking

Electronic Commerce that become after globalization on the economics and reflection of the progressing on the information technologies to commerce is spreading all around of the world recently and in unison it is getting a necessarity to work with it for the countries. Despite of making e-commerce for long years after using internet in common and progressing on the information Technologies make it easier than before. The companies that wants to benefit advantages to state of the being preferred on competition and costs began to work about it fastly. Banking industry, the most user of information and communication Technologies in working area. The fast progressing on the technology, variation of the customer?s demand, increasing of the competition decreasing of the profit magrin is pushed the banks to process new personel administrations. The banks want to get competetion advantages with transfer these technology developments in their area as soon as possible. The aim of tis study, to research under reasons for using and adoption on the internet banking that one of the latest delivery line of the banks. For this context, we gave some information about e-commerce in the first part, in the second part we explaned to progress electronic banking in the Turkish Banking Industry, delivery lines which in use and benefits that is providing to the banks and customers. However, in the third part of this study was made an administration intended for internet banking that is one of the delivery lines of the electronic banking. When we were looking for an answer of the question that factors which effect of the adoption internet banking was utilized the method of the questionnare on the stage of the collecting data. Analizing of the questionnare was getting some benefits of the SPSS programme, it was including 200 questionnare forms. At the end of this study, is seen the most important factors for using and adoption of internet banking is usage facility, suitibality and efficiency. The reasons of the adoption to internet banking are providing time economy, removing limits of the place, being accessible for 24 hours. ?t come up to reason that the people who is unuser of the internet banking; unbelieve of the secure and unknown enough information about it. ?t is the most important result of this study all users and unusers of the internet banking have concern of the security. ?n this meaning of the study, it is getting a lihgt of the subject that should be deleberatied about internet banking administrations.
