Impact on women's sexual life of turkey in four most common modern family planning methods

Abstract (EN)
Research; The four most widely used modern family planning methods in Turkey have been descriptively designed to determine the impact of women on sex life. Data, obstetrics and gynecology outpatient clinic; It has been collected from 191 married women who have agreed to participate in the study, which has been using condoms, intrauterine vehicles, scubaulation and pill methods as a family planning method for at least six months. The data were collected using the Data Collection Form and the Female Sexual Function Scale (RBS) using face-to-face interview technique. The mean age of the women who participated ± 35.68,7,161 and the average age of their ± 39.29.8,217. %35.1 of women are secondary education and %45.5 of their spouses are secondary school graduates. Half of women generally judged their sex life as good (%49.2), while a very small number considering it as bad (%6.3) and very poor (%1.6). As a result of the ki-square test, there was no statistically significant relationship between the family planning method and the affecting status of sex life (p>0.05). Female sexual function scale (RBS) score average is 23.84, craving lower size score average is 3.85, arousal lower size score average is 4.02, lubricant lower size score average is 4.64, orgasm lower size score average is 4.59, satiation lower size score average is 4.32, pain size score average is 2.41. While there was no statistically significant difference between the family planning methods used according to cravings, arousal and pain score averages (p>0.05), there was a significant difference in the total score, lubricant, orgasm and satiation score averages (p<0.05). It is recommended that education and counseling services for family planning and methods be provided with effective communication in accordance with the socio-economic and cultural structure of society.
