Turkey's socio-economic problems, unemployment is one of the most influential on development. The aim of this study was to examine the situation of the young unemployed in the 15-29 age range in Turkey and to identify the factors leading to youth unemployment. Factors affecting the unemployment of the individual were analyzed using random effects panel logit model. According to the findings of the analysis, it is found that men are less likely to be unemployed than women. Being married reduces the probability of being unemployed. The age range was found to have an impact on the probability of being unemployed. At the education level, the probability of being unemployed decreases as the education level increases. When the effect of years on the probability of being unemployed is examined, the probability of being unemployed in 2014, 2015 and 2016 is increasing compared to 2013.
