Abstract (EN)

This study aims to determine some population parameters of Gobio species that are dispersed through Turkey. In this study, 468 individuals from 13 Gobio species located in Recep Tayyip Erdoğan University Fisheries and Aquatic Faculty of Fisheries Museum were examined. Total lenght (TL), fork lenght (FL), standart lenght (SL) and weight (W) of individuals were measured. Lenght-weight and lenght-lenght relationships of 13 Gobio species were analyzed. The value of "b" of the lenght-weight relationships ranged from 2,732 (G. insuyanus) to 3,933 (G. bulgaricus). Growth was found as positive allometric for G. artvinicus (P<0,05), G. bulgaricus (P<0,001), G. fahrettini (P<0,001), G. kovatschevi (P<0,001) G. microlepidotus and isometric for G. baliki, G. gymnostethus, G. hettitorum, G. insuyanus, G. intermedius, G. kizilirmakensis, G. maeandricus, G. sakaryaensis. Lenght-weight relationship parameters of G. artvinicus, G. baliki, G. fahrettini, G. intermedius, G. kizilirmakensis and G. maeandricus are the fist data. Maximum total lenght was determined for the G. gymnostethus (14,2 cm) and G. kovatschevi (11,9 cm) species. 2021, 33 pages Keywords: Gobio, gudgeon, lenght-weight relationship, lenght-lenght relationship, Turkey
