Structure of the Turkey?s pharmaceutical industry could be evaluated together with the development of world?s pharmaceutical industry. Development of the pharmaceutical industry in the world is a big sector because of its accelerating healing impact of diseases during treatment. The pharmaceutical industry in the world is the third largest sector after energy and weapons sector. Structure and historical development of pharmaceutical industry in Turkey started in 1700; the production of laboratory medicine has gained momentum in the Republican period. Drug companies are particular about drug?s originality and its generic.
