The activities of Turkish employment organisation, an evaluation trough the sample: Eskişehir province

The globalization, that has been reflecting its effect throughout the world by the 1990?s, also affected Turkey, and so, it led various social, economical and structural changes. One of the most important changes occurred within the labor market. In order to adopt to changed conditions, many institutions were obliged to transform themselves, of which most important one was Labor Placement Office with its new label, Turkish Employment Organization.In this study, it is attempted to display how the legislative changes are applied in Eskişehir Province sample by introducing the activity areas of Turkish Employment Organization with its transformed identity and also to what extent it is integrated with the changed country conditions.Key Words: Turkish Labor Organization, Placement Service, Unemployment Insurance, Vocational Training
