Abstract (EN)

The aim of this study; examine the progress of occupational health and safety subject in the world and Turkey and the situation of regulations of occupational health and safety at this point; and unearth some encountered lack and mistakes about occupational health and safety education with emphasizing the significance of occupational health and safety education in the world and especially Turkey. Proposing solutions toward correction of mistakes and lacks as a result of these inferences is the other aim of this study. In this study, imposed on literature review with using historian method. This study is to be such as to theoretical and have three chapter. In the first chapter, had touched on the significance of the occupational health and safety subject with clarifying to basic information and explained the evolution of occupational health and safety subject shortly from past to present; in the second chapter, some documents essentially of international occupational health and safety regulations and the present situation about occupational health and safety at intendment of law in the light of the legal regulations done from Ottoman Period in Turkey. The first and the second chapter of this study, had coveraged cognitive statement mainly and the theme was to emphasize at the final chapter especially. At the final chapter of this study, identified the place of the occupational health and safety subject at the education system which is still apply in Turkey with emphasizing the significance of occupational health and safety; some inabilities had found out and some solutions had offered about these inabilities.
