Abstract (EN)

The textile industry, rooted in centuries of craftsmanship and innovation, today represents a key segment of global manufacturing. It encompasses the production of a broad spectrum of goods, including clothing, home furnishings, and industrial textiles, utilizing both natural and synthetic fibers. Due to its size and complexity, the sector significantly impacts economic development, employment, and global trade. However, with the acceleration of industrial activities, increasing population, and rapid technological advancements, environmental challenges—such as resource depletion, waste generation, and pollution—have become more critical than ever before. These concerns have driven international attention toward the necessity of sustainable development in all major industries, including textiles.
