The role of ?nformation technology in-service training of civil servants in Turkey

Within the new public management?s framework to the for in the public sector, the economic, social and technical content of the new tasks very well functioning public administration, was required to make effective and rational management.Qualified and trained personnel is importance for public administration. So that, an effective and efficient public administration can be established, keep pace with the changing and developing world is a necessity for public administration.This function will perform the Services as a training tool, both for public official and organizational effectiveness in providing public facilities is seen as the most effective tools.The fast changes on information technologies, has brought the reputation of the new technics within in-service training. The use of information technologies in education has been developped as distance learning, electronic learning, computer?assisted learning and mobile learning. It is inevitable to utilize these new education methods related to information technologies e-service helps to participants to solve the problems by creating real life ambiet and enables them to reach to sources and informations about expertise knowladge. Related to this Education with E-Services minders the job loss and lowers the cost of service training. In the content of this project it has been tried to made an evaluation regarding to role of the information technologies on service training.Key Words : Service Training, Information Technologies, E-Service Education, Distance Education.
