Abstract (EN)
Being a reflection of unregistered economy on business life, unregistered employment, is a problem that effects all nations globally. In the world, although this problem is faced by less developed and developing countries, even in developed countries this problem occurs. The reason that unregistered employment problem arises is proportional with the social and economic structures of the countries. Unregistered employment is a serious problem that gets a lot of attention in our country. Even though this type of employment can be observed mainly in farming sectors, we may face this issue in other business areas. There are a lot of reasons why this type of employment is present in our country. In general these reasons are handled as social, economic and political reasons. These reasons reflect the social and economic status of our society. In our country, people who work as unregistered employees, in other words employees who do not have any social security, work to make earnings in unsecure, bad working conditions, working in long shifts, absent of work security, with lower average income. Especially unqualified labor force, shift to unregistered employment when jobless and this results in them not being able to improve themselves leading to a vicious cycle. Also, parts of groups such as women and children that require special attention and protection are employed unregistered and work in bad conditions. This is a serious sociological problem. There are a lot of studies that are made to prevent unregistered employment. Lowering jobless rate and increasing the number of registered employees are main agenda of our country. There are a lot of regulations being implemented about this issue. In this regard, the struggle with unregistered employment is handled with government programs, legal implementations, and other actions.
