Comparison of depression and life satisfaction levels of university students studying in Turkey and Kazakhstan

The purpose of this thesis, depression and life satisfaction of college students in Turkey and Kazakhstan to compare levels according to the sections they read. In addition, the study examined whether culture had an impact on depression and life levels. Cross-sectional scanning model was preferred as the research model. Research is located in the province of Eastern Anatolia Region of Turkey, PDR continued learning in the Faculty of Education, Social Studies Education, Turkish Language Teaching, studying in Primary Mathematics Education and Music Education program katılmışıt 238 people. 250 people from PDR, Physical Education, Sociology, Political Science, Pedagogy, Religious Studies, Psychology, Mathematics and Russian Language participated in the program. Data were collected and analyzed with Beck Depression and Satisfaction with Life scales. Pearson Correlation, Kruskal Wallis Test, Mann-Whitney U Test and One Way Anova were used in the inferential statistics analysis. According to the findings, there was no significant difference between Turkish and Kazakh students' reading department and Beck depression and life satisfaction scores. According to another finding, there was no significant difference between Turkish and Kazakh students' Beck Depression Scores and Life Satisfaction Scores according to culture.
