Additionally the methods prefered by SMEs while funding and alternative funding facilities are taken into consideration. In this respect with the literature survey conducted, the examples of developed countries have been analyzed and compared with the examples of Turkey. It has been ascertained that the relation of SMEs with banking continues increasingly and that studies are conducted for SMEs to make fund from stock market. It has been determined that applications done in developed countries are taken into consideration. In the study, it is seen that SMEs increase their competitiveness thanks to fund provided by stock market; however, in Turkey enough supply and demand can not be provided. In this context, the government support for SMEs in evaluating the current situation regarding funding opportunities has been discussed and some proposals have been developed in light of this assessment.
