Carrying out a rural development project within İhsaniye district of Afyonkarahisar, graduate thesis

The thesis is composed of two sections as theory and practice. Books and articles especially from the State Planning Organization related to the topic have been searched thoroughly to determine rural development conceptual frame and rural development progress; to explain the rural development policies, their implementers and rural development models which have been put into practice thus far in our country. After discussing rural development subject, in accordance with explicited assumptions, connected with the discussed issue the current situation of İhsaniye district of Afyonkarahisar has been scrutinized, afterwards a poll was taken to search the household head and socio-economic status of all villages. Furthermore, the current situation of İhsaniye district of Afyonkarahisar has been analysed; the problems of the district and the detection of these problems and solution to these problems have been evaluated via swot analysis technique. Hence, a study from general to specific has been made on rural development issue.
