Abstract (EN)
The goal of this research is to solve nuclear reactor site selection problem that have a set of criteria and alternatives. The site selection is a decision that includes lots of criteria and alternatives, is difficult takes long periods and risky. We use various criteria to evaluate alternatives thus it is important for site selection process criteria?s classification and determination to suitable preferences. After determination of criteria the second difficulty is determination of alternatives. After determination both criteria and alternatives, we made a framework for decision making and multi criteria models are used to selection process of alternatives. In this research we consider using integrated form of Topsis (Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution) and Entropi methods for nuclear reactor site selection methodology. Also in this research beside the methodology it is briefly evaluated using nuclear energy needs for Turkey in the process of industrialization at the present day as an example of advanced technology. This study?s datasets are got from associate professorship thesis studied in Istanbul Technical University?s Nuclear Energy Institute in 1987. The present datasets could not be reached. An application was made in order to request them from Turkey Atomic Energy Authority by way of a petition but because of privacy our request was refused. Research could not trash out commonly because it needs advanced technology, it is not renewable energy and nuclear energy wastes are hazardous materials for live things and humans nature. In this research criterion?s weight determined with Entropi method and ranked with Topsis method. It was concluded that the most suitable areas were in order of their suitable; Poliçe, Çilingos, Kefken and nceburun. This research?s substantial contribution is using integrated model which composes Topsis and Entropi in nuclear reactor site selection problem which is not point out importantly in our country. Entropi and Topsis methods are now finding wider and wider application in a broad range of decision making problems. And the result part of the study gives some information about new research opportunity and overture proposal to researchers.
