LGBT Turkey to be: Discrimination, violence, triangular section data analysis in satisfaction

The phenomenon of discrimination has existed for centuries. Individuals face discrimination at some point in their lives due to language, religion, race, gender, sexual identity, sexual orientation and many other reasons. In this study, LGBT individuals who have to struggle against discrimination in many other fields such as education, social, law, work and health because of their sexual identity and sexual orientation have been studied. İncluding discrimination they experience in different fields particularly of LGBT individuals in Turkey, they are exposed to physical and psychological violence, as well logit model and multinomial logit model approach in this study also aimed to emerge factors that affect life satisfaction in different fields are used. For this purpose, online questionnaires were applied to individuals. As a result of logit model estimations, where the violence against LGBT individuals is analyzed; It has been observed that increasing the education level of individuals decreases the possibility of exposure to physical violence, while their aging increases the probability of exposure to both physical and psychological violence. In addition, the fact that LGBT individuals do not feel under pressure is a factor that increases the probability of exposure to physical and psychological violence, while the fact that individuals do not feel safe in the neighborhood and home where they live has emerged as a factor that reduces the possibility of exposure to physical and psychological violence. In addition, as a result of the logit model estimates in which the life satisfaction of these individuals are analyzed; It has been concluded that LGBT individuals' education levels increase, they do not feel under pressure and are not exposed to physical violence are factors that increase their life satisfaction. It was determined that the fact that LGBT individuals are not satisfied with their neighborhood and their relations with their friends does not prevent them from being satisfied with their place in social life, and those who are not satisfied with their profession and their colleagues are still satisfied with their workplaces. As a result of the multinomial logit model estimates in which LGBT individuals discrimination in different areas, it has been revealed that while LGBT individuals experience more discrimination in their healthcare life with the advancement of their ages and education levels, they encounter less discrimination with their age. Similar to other results, it was found that LGBT individuals living without feeling pressure increased the possibility of discrimination in their health lives.
