The logistics sector in Turkey and problems

This thesis aims to contribute on development of Logistics Business in Turkey by analyzing the current structure to indicate the problems of the logistics buiness sector and by proposing solutions to these problems of fast growing logistics business. This thesis is a qualitative analysis which 7 leading big companies of Turkish Logistics Business are incolved with their representatives. Within this thesis obstacles and problems during customer care, purchase, transport, storage, handling, customs clearance services are investigated and studied. as a result of the analysis, results are considered and solutions are proposed.Keywords: Logistics, logistics sector problems, the logistics sector in Turkey
