To determine the statistical significance of the data set, the .05 significance level was chosen. After the findings obtained in the research were interpreted within themselves, a new dimension was gained by associating them with each other. These findings showed that the ISTs organized for music teachers in general were insufficient in terms of quantity and moderately sufficient in terms of quality. The IST needs of the music teachers on the subjects related to field and field education, professional knowledge, general culture, music teaching methods and techniques and Turkish music culture are concentrated at a medium level, and the education level of the music teachers, their participation in IST, the seniority and the variables of participation in IST.
