Abstract (EN)
In the world where the level of communication and technology develops rapidly, the determinants of the competition between countries have also changed. In our age, global competition is mostly through the exports of product groups. In this context, countries with high added value, original and strategic product groups and comparative advantages increase their global competitiveness and have a say in the world both economically and politically. In this respect, the question of which products should be specialized in the production and foreign trade of which products come to the agenda. In this master's thesis, it is aimed to analyze competition analyzes of the sub-product groups of the aviation sector, which is both high added value and political and economic terms in the foreign trade. In this study, 11 sub -product groups for the aviation sector were identified and the foreign trade competition and specialization levels of Turkey and China are tried to be determined in these product groups. The results obtained in the study, which is an important competitive measurement, show that both countries cannot fully specialize in the foreign trade of these product groups and do not have a global competitive advantage. However, when the two countries are compared, China's comparative advantages in these products are higher than in Turkey.
