Turkey's health policies for migrants

This study comprehensively evaluates Turkey's health policies for refugees, focusing on important areas such as access to health services, social cohesion and public health. Türkiye is making serious efforts to meet the health needs of refugees and promote social integration. As part of these efforts, health centers such as Immigrant Health Centers and initiatives such as community health centers have been established to provide refugees with accessible, culturally sensitive and comprehensive health services. These health centers meet the health needs of refugees by providing a variety of services, including basic health care, immunizations, prenatal care, mental health support, and chronic disease management. Turkey's health policies also aim to promote social cohesion and increase solidarity between refugees and host societies. Cultural events, language courses and community-based programs organized in this context aim to increase interaction and understanding between refugees and local people. These initiatives help refugees combat social isolation, integrate into society and become part of living together in society. Additionally, Turkey's health policies place a significant emphasis on establishing collaboration and partnerships among government institutions, non-governmental organizations, and community stakeholders. These collaborations and partnerships support refugee health and well-being by ensuring that health, social services and humanitarian programs are carried out in a holistic and integrated manner. This study emphasizes that the effective implementation of Turkey's health policies for refugees is of vital importance in meeting the health and social needs of refugees, integrating them into society and living a healthy life. Turkey's achievements in this field serve as an example for other countries and offer important lessons in the development and implementation of health policies for refugees.
