Abstract (EN)
In this study, in the context of the development of health journalism in Turkey, the development axis of the country's health policy has been published since 1999, it is aimed to analyze the development in the understanding of Medimagaz publication of the newspaper. Accordingly, a total of 885 articles (news and other articles) published on page 1 in Medimagazin in 2000, 2005, 2010 and 2015 were analyzed by content analysis method. In the findings obtained in the study, the number of articles examined varies over the years, almost all of them are news, the article is positioned at the bottom of the page, the most commonly used article size is 4 units, almost all of the articles are published anonymously. The institutional explanations of the Ministry of Health of the source of information and information consulted are the Ministry of Health, the institution whose name is mentioned the most, that more than half of the articles are directly related to the topic of health, the issues related to health workers and their problems in the articles are most prominent in the context of common themes. In more than half of the articles, legislation, laws, regulations and regulations are included, and the most sub-theme is health policies, systems, criticism and advocacy. It was determined that there is no photograph or visual content and the most doctor / physician image is included as the subject of the photograph.
