Abstract (EN)
The concept of human development is a multi-dimensional concept. It aims to increase the living standards of societies based on the opportunities and the talents that people possess. The main components that it contains, taked attention human dimension of development with income, health and education parameters. For human development, it is desirable that the per capita income level and purchasing power, life expectancy at birth, literacy and schooling rates are high. All these parameters indicate that a good standard of living, a healthy and long life, and the need to be educated, will make human life more qualitative and quantitative. All these parameters show to as a need of a good standard of living, a healthy and long life and being educated, human life will be qualitatively and quantitatively would be at a better level. In the perspective of Amartya SEN who is one of the most important thinkers of the age and one of the first names coming to mind when it is called human development it is aimed to increase the welfare of the individual based on their capacity and capabilities and to eliminate all kinds of deprivation. From this point of our work is helping to analyze Turkey's human development. Turkey's level of development as revealed by scientific with Human Development Index, scrutinized the dimensions of human development. Turkey's situation in comparison with selected countries focuses on solutions to identify and improve the issues that are left behind.
