Abstract (EN)
This study aims at revealing importance and efficiency of incentive policies at increasing competitiveness power of Turkey. Definitions of competitiveness and competitiveness power, importance of these concepts and factors affecting competitiveness power are examined in the first chapter of this study. In addition, classical and modern approaches on competitiveness power superiority are conveyed. Finally, factors affecting competitiveness power are evaluated in respect of Turkey and the place of Turkey is clarified in the world competitiveness power table. In the second part of this study, also the last part of this study, incentives (government aids) are discussed. Furthermore, incentives in the EU and incentives in Turkey from the past to now are explained. Finally, effectiveness of incentive policies at increasing competitiveness power of Turkey is revealed.
