Abstract (EN)

The subject of this research is the Turkey's relationship with Russia during Syria Civil War and the historical analysis of this relationship. First of all, the political history of these two states has been shaped mostly within the framework of neighborhood relations. Sometimes they have signed an unprecedented friendship. In this neighborhood relationship, where the relationship in the political dimension has priority, economic and cultural values have progressed in parallel with political relations. These states, which appear on the international scene as the successors of two great empires, reflect a changing relationship with new projects and trends in the Eurasian area today, which has a long history. Changing balances in the current relations between Turkey and Russia have gained a very important dimension. Recently, Russia's Global Strengthening Demand, the problems arising in the axis of the Syrian crisis, the direction of the energy lines and the dialogue process between the leaders have prepared the ground for the relations with Russia to gain more importance. The fact that Russia is our border neighbor is a geopolitical and geostrategic Turkish - Russian relations in the context of the Syrian civil war have experienced a process of convergence and divergence. Relations established with Syria directly affect relations with Russia, and relations between the two states continue with the approval of interests. In this context, the study examined the strategies and policies of the state against the three through Syria. Key Words: Turkey, Russia, Turkey-Russia relations, Syria, Syrian Civil War
