Public administration authorities in Turkish governance structure

Abstract (EN)

Public administration authorities in Turkish governance structure has constituted the corner stone of central governance of country organisation. Public administration authorities are head of countries or provinces acting as government representatives and they are responsible of management and supervision of cities and countries. In this context they are given authority and hundreds of missions such as to ensure public order and security and coordinating functions between government offices and country institutions. While public administration authorities has hierarchical authorities on country organisation of central administration, they have power of administrative trusteeship over the local governments within the context of integral unity of the administration that predicts by constitutional charter.As a provinces continuation of central government, Provincial administration has maintained his presencewith no speculation till the early of 2000. However, current public administration concept necesscitate new localization and democracy trends so these trends has caused some evolutions for law and regulations that structure provincial administration. This process inevitably has effected profession of public administration authorithy so that scope of duties has got narrowed and loss of authority has resulted in.
