Traffic is one of the most common phenomena which people are faced in their daily lives. By the help technology and education, this phenomeno is understood long ago in the world and they took measures and made necessary regulations. However, world is in progress and new technologies are consistently adapted to our lives. The adaption of new technologies is possible only with good education. If the traffic education starts in earlier ages of childhood, then the outcome would be more productive. If it is evaluated that traffic is a major part of our lives and many people die because of traffic accidents in our country, traffic education in early ages is an unavoidable requirement. In this study pre-school children?s intuition about traffic phenomenon, what children are taught about this phenomenon at home and school, how this traffic education is done in the world are analyzed in detail and the case of Turkey is presented with surveys.
