Abstract (EN)

Energy has been needed since the day that humans have existed on Earth. By means of the developing technology, energy sources are used in almost all areas of human life. Interruption of these resources may also bring us to a halt in meeting our basic needs. Cutting of these resources may also bring us to a halt in supplying our basic needs. Starting to depletion of fossil fuels rapidly increases the interest in renewable energy sources day by day. Wind energy is one of the resources. In this study, the projection of Turkey's wind energy potential that has been tried to expose by using meteorological data of the previous years. Big Data Analytics and Mixture Weibull Distribution modeling have been used for this purpose. In the conclusion, data mining has been made for validation of the being wind energy potential. The highest energy predictive value for the 2012-2016 average wind speed data was calculated as 93,372,799.30 MWh. In the last part of the study, big data mining analysis is performed for wind data. Key Word: Wind Energy Potential, Big Data Analytics, Mixture Weibull Distribution, Average Power Density, Data Mining
