Social Assistances in Election Periods in Turkey: A critique of the Social Assitance and Solidarity Encouragement Fund

In this study which investigates how social assistances affects from election periods, social assistances in Turkey had adverted in general, and the implementations of the Social Assistance and Solidarity Encouragement Fund had investigated in special. The development of social assistances, the application areas and the methods of social assistances had given, the implementations which varies by the different models of welfare state had explanied. What kind of tendency were the social assistances from the Social Assistance and Solidarity Encouragement Fund show between the years 2001-2014 had examined considering the elections which made among these years. The political situations which affects the preparation methods of social assistances had explained and how the general trend shaped had tried to explain.
