Abstract (EN)
The period when the Turks slowly occupied Anatolia is a greatly important historical event. Afyonkarahisar, the city that played a key role during that time, has also benefited and influenced by that transformation. The city eyewitnessed many military and politic affairs in Seljuk and Beyliks period. Nonetheless many Turkish clans came and inhabited at Afyonkarahisar. During that process all these series of historical events affected Afyonkarahisar privately and also Anatolia in general.
