Using typography on the periodicals? cover designs in Turkiye (visual arts and music magazines) in the way of reflecting the form and the content

Magazine covers are the graphic design products which are created after the preparation of magazine?s contents. The typography which provides the communication with magazine readers generates the magazine?s visual identity as formal. In view of the content, it summarizes the information of that magazine issue.By handling the visual arts and music magazines? covers published in the world and in Turkey, it has been referred the importance of design by creating integrity between visual and typographical elements. Sometimes, in magazine covers, there have been both confusion in typography with the purpose of strengthening remarkability and lack of typographical expression power. On the samples in this research, by comparison, explanation and analysis, it has been expected to clarify this issue.
