Abstract (EN)
Culture refers to the behavior patterns of societies that are used in the formation and transfer of the material and spiritual values that involve all historical and social elements. At the same time, culture forms the whole of the works of thought and art specific to society. Similarities and differences in cultural structure of Turkey and Saudi Arabia country studies using cultural differences in dimensions of Hofstede's theory gained in literature aimed to be measured. The cultural dimension of Hofstede is 6; power distance, individualist / collectivist structure, uncertainty avoidance, masculine / feminine society, long-term / short-term orientation, limitation to freedom (checkpoint). The results obtained from the power distance dimension values Turkey 66 points, while Saudi Arabia has 95 points. As a result of these scoring, it was seen that both countries had a hierarchical management approach. The second dimension individualist / collectivist structure size of 37 points Turkey, Saudi Arabia has taken only 25 points. It has been seen that both countries have a collectivist society with these values. The third dimension, the dimension of uncertainty avoidance Turkey from Saudi Arabia has been receiving 85 points and 80 points. The two obtained values were quite high and the two countries avoided uncertainty. The fourth dimension, masculine / feminine society size from Turkey 45 points, while Saudi Arabia has taken the 60 points. According to these results, Turkey feminine society, while Saudi Arabia has been shown to carry the masculine community property. Fifth dimension, long-term / short-term orientation is the limit to which Turkey received 46 points. Therefore, it did not reflect a clear preference. Saudi Arabia scored 36 points. This result indicated that Saudi Arabia was a normative society. Finally, the sixth dimension restrictions against freedom (checkpoint), while 49 points size from Turkey, Saudi Arabia has 52 points. These values have shown that both countries remain at the border and there is no clear preference. This, together with the values obtained from Saudi Arabia and Turkey has designated size matters should pay attention to their country. In this way, it is expected to establish warm relations between the two countries and to spread this warm environment to the world.
