Abstract (EN)

Because of the economical development, nations are in great rivalry. Tourism sector, which is accepted one of the indispensable of services sector, has been giving guidance to economy especially in some Mediterranean countries for years and also in our country for last few years. As a result of development of tourism sector in the tourism intense countries, generally on the seaside as the tourists seem to holidaying continuously, settling of foreigners has started. In recent years, because of the developments of tourism sector and changes in the laws, in our country we have been observing great increase in the settling of foreigners. The purpose of our study is, to find out the causes of settling in Fethiye area and the complications after settling because of sociological and cultural reasons and formulas of solutions of English people who prefer to settle down in Fethiye which is a borough of Mugla mostly. To collect the results of this investigation in the Fethiye region, with the help of English inquiry forms we have made a survey work. When we interperate the outcomes of this survey show that, the preference of foreigners, who settled and living continuously in our country, are mostly due to nice nature, climate, natural meals and more economic living conditions. Increasing the educational and the income level and in the living time in Fethiye of the people related with our workspace has made decreasing the problems in sociocultural and religious beliefs and the in the other subjects.
